| General scope of work: |

| Cooperating with Alcan's drafting department, Kemano technical staff and several engineering consultants, suppliers and contractors, GV Bashforth & Associates Ltd. assisted Alcan during a challenging time of upgrading, automation and policy change at the Kemano Generating Station. |
|
| During approximately five years, Alcan had overlapping contracts with several firms to upgrade the generator and switchyard protection, upgrade the switchyard equipment and automate controls of the powerhouse and switchyard equipment as well as several other small projects. Most of these projects occurred at the same time as the Kemano drafting and document control functions were being moved to the Kitimat drafting department. |

| GVB&A undertook to control approximately four thousand drawings and other documents, merge information provided by several revisions of the same drawing made by independent firms, standardize titles, standardize presentations and perform field inspections to determine as-built status in many cases. |
